SVdP Seasonal Outreach

Who We Are

SVdP's Seasonal Outreach encompasses a number of programs and initiatives designed to support individuals and families during specific times of the year when needs are heightened.

What We Do

Our seasonal outreach programs includes:

Thanksgiving Food Boxes

For 48 years, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has sponsored an annual Thanksgiving Food Box outreach program for those less fortunate. This is a family-to-family act of charity. Your family can share the tradition of Thanksgiving with families in need.

Christmas Toy Store

Each year, we open the Christmas Toy Store to families in need who cannot afford to purchase gifts for their children in Ada and Canyon County. We provide gifts at no cost to families with children ages 0-18 to shop at our Christmas Toy Store.

Cookies for Corrections

In the spirit of Christmas, members of our reentry team deliver cookies to residents at the South Boise Correctional Complex. This small act of kindness is an opportunity to extend compassion, fellowship, and community to incarcerated individuals in Idaho.

Feeding American Heroes

In both the Spring and Fall, St. Vincent de Paul (along with several local partners) provides food boxes, a variety of cleaning supplies, a hot meal, and other home essentials for our local Veterans and their families.
