St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho is looking for a volunteer with bike repair experience to help us restore donated bicycles.
Once repaired, these bikes serve a powerful purpose:
- Some are given to individuals recently released from incarceration who need reliable transportation to get to work, appointments, and rebuild their lives.
- Others are sold through our thrift stores, with proceeds supporting St. Vincent de Paul programs throughout the Treasure Valley.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Inspect donated bicycles
- Perform repairs as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks
- Help ensure bikes are ready for their next owner
Qualifications:
- Experience repairing and maintaining bicycles is required
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and make necessary repairs
- A desire to use your skills to serve neighbors in need
